Shades of Jazz

Formed as a ‘wish list band’ during a late-night/early morning post-gig discussion between musicians who desired to perform popular jazz music in their own style without imitating other bands and artists, Shades of Jazz comprises top-quality experienced players who have performed with the best. The band’s popularity has grown significantly since its formation in 2015, playing festivals and clubs across the UK.  An opportunity to get them together for a Shades gigs is a rare bonus not to be missed! You can expect a varied selection of Dixieland, Revivalist, Trad, Swing and popular jazz tunes with dazzling instrumental features from members of the band.
