Planning the most important day of
your life can be somewhat daunting, but you can be assured that
Romanby Golf & Country Club provides a highly professional, personal service from the
moment of your initial enquiry through to your ‘Big Day’. At
Romanby we understand that every wedding is different and aim to
tailor each package to suit your individual requirements.
Your ‘Big Day’ requires a special location and Romanby offers just
that. One of Yorkshire’s most scenic golf courses, we are set in
200 acres of beautiful Yorkshire countryside with stunning views
over the Yorkshire Dales and Hambleton Hills. The quality of the
setting is apparent from the moment you enter the course and
approach to the modern clubhouse along the
drive which runs alongside the picturesque 9th hole. The interior and grounds are a
winning combination and make for the most romantic and memorable
of wedding celebrations.
We can host from 40 up to 100 people for the formal celebrations
and up to 200 for the evening, when your guests can be entertained
with a disco or live music.
Menus
Our Head Chef, Adrian Craig has designed a range of menus that
reflect current tastes and seasonal trends to suit every pallet
and price. He can also offer separate vegetarian and children’s
menus and is happy to accommodate other dietary requirements upon
request.
Our Master of Ceremonies will lead
you through your day by announcing the commencement of the Wedding
Breakfast, introducing grace, speakers and the cutting of the
cake.
Colour
co-ordinated napkins, table dressings and the use of a cake knife
are included in your special day. Should you require them,
optional extras include: a red carpet, toastmaster, chair covers
and helium balloons.
When booking both afternoon and evening celebrations
we will be pleased to discuss discounts with you.
Accommodation
We do not have on-site
accommodation, but we are ideally placed to offer advice
on nearby hotel accommodation.
Entertainment
Disco or live music is not included in the package and we would be
only too happy to offer you assistance in selecting and sourcing
your choice of entertainment.
Civil Ceremonies
We are pleased to offer a civil ceremony within the venue. A fee
applies for room hire (price on application). Please note this
does not cover any charges made by the Official Registrar and you
must enter into a separate agreement with the relevant official
bodies for this.
Below are our suggested room
layouts. For smaller parties it is suggested that the dance floor
is situated in the main room and for larger parties that the dance
floor is situated in the adjoining reception area.
